Welcome to our blog!
We are Tommy Verhagen, Ron de Greef, Natalie Raming, Niek Klein Hofmeijer and Mieke Kortbeek, five students from the NHTV University of Applied Sciences in Breda.
We were given an assignment during our stay in the USA and the assignment is to find a company with a concept that hasn’t been introduced in the Dutch market yet, and we have to investigate what their concept is, what is their history and why this concept could work or not work in the Netherlands.
The company we choose are the Red Lobster restaurants which you find all over America.
Why?
Because it’s one of the biggest seafood restaurants in the United States and we want to find out if one brand can succeed in opening seafood restaurants in the Netherlands. Of course we have seafood restaurants in Holland, but none of them are under one big brand. What makes Red Lobster so popular then?
On this blog you will find the following subjects:
- The history of Red Lobster
- What is the concept of Red Lobster?
- Their marketingmix
- Branded Customer Experience
- The conclusion to our investigation
We hope you enjoy reading our blog
